After touring the Rip Van Winkle Gardens, I decided to dine at Cafe Jefferson, which is conveniently located on the same property. I enjoyed the crab meat au gratin, which was rich in flavor, along with freshly baked warm rolls. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was efficient, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone visiting the gardens.

After touring the Rip Van Winkle gardens, I felt quite hungry and decided to stop by the restaurant on the property. The crab meat au gratin I ordered was exceptional, complemented by warm rolls that added to the experience. With a lovely view, reasonable prices, and attentive service, it makes for a pleasant dining option following a garden visit.
