Occidental offers authentic German-style beers that are smooth, flavorful, and brewed to perfection, with the Hefeweizen standing out as the best I've had in Portland. The relaxed, no-frills taproom features friendly staff, unique local artwork, a dog-friendly outdoor patio, and a great view of St. John's Bridge, making it an ideal spot to unwind with good brews and company.

If you are seeking authentic German-style beers, I found a great spot in St. Johns that offers a fantastic Hefeweizen. The taproom has a unique atmosphere with interesting artwork and a welcoming outdoor seating area.
