Where do I start??? My wife and I about 2 years ago was introduced to this place by my wifes mothers boyfriend. It has always been a fine experience. Seeing that we liked this place we this past weekend had our daughters blessing. We had a great day outside and then went over to Vitos with 15 people. Here is where I will tell anyone to save your money and go someplace else. My wifes mother and boyfriend talked to vito back in March. Told him what we were looking for and he offered Soft drinks, food that included a salad and pasta before the meal for $19.99 a person. Great deal we booked it. Well, It was not until the day before when my wife and I showed up to bring the cake vito said he would hold overnight which he did he seemed kind of nasty. My wife and I had a nice dinner though and spent about $75. It was at the table we just had asked them if soft drinks were included because a few days before all of a sudden vito told my wifes mother they are not and they are an extra $2.50 a person unlimited drinks. Ok, we fully understand that but originally told they were included. So that night I sent out a text to the people who were coming and EVERYONE did not have a problem drinking water. Well, the family members showed up before my wife and I got there that day and before we even got there I received a text message from my family saying soft drinks are included the waitress checked 2 times. So I saw 3 pitchers of Diet Soda on the table. (Let me add not one was refilled the entire party) most people were drinking the water. When we got the bill vito added $2.50 a person plus when you add up the drink cost he wrote on the bill and divided it by the number of people the guy was charging like $4.17 or something like that each person. I knew something was not right. Vito seemed to get very mad and disturbed when he saw my wife and I going over the bill. hmmm tells me the guy knew he was hiding something. He went into saying I was bringing you bread, you got salad and you got pasta blah blah blah. It was all supposed to be included in the $19.99 per person rate. Then he started getting mad that we had not paid yet and we were reviewing the bill with our parents. They even all said something is not adding up. We tried to explain to viti that he is charging extra and he starts going crazy. Like saying you know other restaurants would be charging a plate cleaning fee and a fee to clean the cake plates. Really vito???? Any place I have gone to and it was pre arranged and set up nobody ever charged something like that. My parents got up to speak with him and this guy freaked out and you could hear him yelling in the restaurant. This guy also claimed that he shut down the restaurant for our party BUT while our part was going on in the same room 2 couples were having a nice lunch. So vito was yelling and screaming saying stuff like I gave you this and that and I am just going to eat the soda cost and blah blah blah enough from your mouth lol. Maybe if you stick to what you tell people and then also on top of that you hid a charge that was charging us an additional $2 a person in the drink cost or was that the coffee and tea charge that again we told the waitress we don't want it if it is not included in the $19.99 and she said it was included. This place I thought was very nice. We would have continued to be this guys customer but after this we will not be returning to this place. You do not treat people that give you business like that. Oh on top of this should I add that the tax added on the bill was not changed which at this point I really did not care. We paid it. We doubled the tax for the tip and gave some extra and went on our way. Maybe we should have went to Chef's of New York in East Northport instead. My wifes uncle ownes that restaurant and we would not have been scammed on a day that was supposed to be nice.
