This classic diner delivers all the old-school charm you could want, with generous portions and a menu that keeps breakfast going all day long-plus, their club sandwiches and pies are absolute winners. The staff bend over backwards to make sure you're happy, and while the jukeboxes might be silent (thankfully), the vibe stays as authentic as ever. Just remember to bring cash, and definitely don't skip the tuna melt or a slice of pie-you won't regret it!

The food is really great! What I am most impressed with is the lack of overbearing fluorescent lighting, giving it a genuine early last century feel. I am always so comfortable there I would stay longer but, the line of diners out the door always make me give in and evacuate my table soon after finishing to let others enjoy the good food and atmosphere.

If there were 10 stars for best Pie I have ever eaten - that's what I would give the Agawam Diner. OMG. I am a baker and I have never eaten such a wonderful pie!!! If you haven't been to the Agawam you must must go. I will be going back as often as I can to sample every single thing the make or bake:)
