Upon arrival, the lack of patrons was concerning and the proximity to a trucker casino was not preferable. However, the surprise came with the quality of the food, as the fried fish was substantial with flavorful batter. The shrimp, while large, lacked appeal in its batter. The turnip greens stood out as a highlight, but the red beans fell short in taste and consistency.
