The nursing staff on the 6th floor as well as the CCU on the second floor are phenomenal! My mother was transferred to this hospital from another via ambulance, which was pretty frightening. Upon talking with the nurses and the Hospitalist on the 6th floor, my nerves were a bit more calm. When my mother took a turn for the worst she was taken to the CCU on the second floor. Everyone that was involved with her care played an important part and kept me informed about every situation, test, obstacle, diagnosis and prognosis. When my mother went into surgery, the nurse that was assisting the surgeon called me every hour to give me an update and to assure me that my mother was alright and in good hands. Afterward, I received a call from the surgeon himself, he explained everything that was done for mother. I am truly grateful for the staff here. Their administrative staff are very blessed to have individuals like these on their team.
Needless to say, Glenwood Regional Medical Center staff you guys ROCK!!💗❤️ 😘
