We popped into this cute little shop a few times while we were in Stratford picking up some goodies for our picnics. The Brie they had was seriously the best I've ever tasted, and they had a nice selection of cheeses to choose from. The lady working there was super friendly and helped us pick out some delicious olive tapenade, smoked salmon, and other treats. The shop itself is really pretty, and the service was excellent - we ended up spending way more than we planned because everything was so tempting. Next time, I'll remember to bring some chutney and crackers to go with the cheese. We took our haul to Queen's Park for a picnic and had a fantastic time - definitely a spot worth checking out.

Very upset with the service that was provided... I entered the store with my boyfriend and the lady was very kind at first.. She seemed to get annoyed very fast with us. Before entering the store my boyfriend and I had the intentions of trying some cheese and tipping the lady for her time (about $20) or buying some cheese instead. My boyfriend is currently in culinary school so of course he wants to try different types of foods. So we asked the lady if we could try some cheese, she replied with a yes, but added a rude remark stating 'as long as I'm not serving you lunch'. After we tried two different types of cheese she became more annoyed and began to not reply to us when we asked her if we could try another kind, from then on she would just grab it from the shelf and cut a small piece and shoved it over. I felt very uncomfortable for the most part so I just bought of small piece of cheese so we weren't wasting her time, there was no way we were going to tip her after that.
This lady should've been more than happy to let us try some product as it could be a potential profit for the store if we had chosen to buy some cheese.
The store was empty the whole time so it wasn't like she was busy, my boyfriend and I felt like we where more of an inconvenience than anything.
Overall, bad service and will not be returning. The cheese was good. Unfortunately, the rude service ruined our visit.
