The food at Le Mouton Noir was delicious, but the service was slow, possibly due to being short-staffed. I visited on a Saturday after attending 1001 Pots and was impressed by the serious espresso and welcoming atmosphere - it's great to have a real third-wave coffee shop in the area serving my favorite Phil and Sebastian beans. The staff and owner were friendly, the poutine with rosemary sauce was delectable, and the selection of beer and wine was great. The place had a warm and inviting vibe, with open mic nights on Fridays and activities for kids - I really enjoyed my experience there and look forward to returning.
