This charming little cafí© serves incredible food and coffee that always hits the mark. The sandwiches, pastries, and breakfast burritos are all delicious, making it a fantastic choice for any meal. With friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere, it's a perfect destination to unwind and enjoy a great dining experience.

Alicia's Sugar Shack's Melissa McCormick was day drinking at Twain Harte Golf Club two days ago, where she met and forced herself upon my fiance, John Wilson. She then took him home with her, knowing full well he has a family. I can't comfortably back anything that includes such a desperate person with alarmingly loose character and complete indifference to morality. Never eaten here. Never will.

Alicia's Sugar Shack is located off Hwy108 above Twain Harte. When entering the Sugar Shack, you'll immediately be met by a friendly staff whom are eager to please your palate. You'll also notice the wonderful aroma of specialty coffee being brewed and a sizable array of espresso drinks. For breakfast, and for those with a hefty appetite, a customer favorite is the breakfast burrito filled with eggs, cheese, and bacon or made to order. On Sundays only, they add Eggs Benedict with a muffin and a generous slathering of homemade gravy to the menu.
The pastry cabinet is full of a rich array of scones and various fruit pastries that are sure to please. One of the favorite muffins is the Motherlode muffin which is perfect for hikers wanting to load up before their late morning hike. I give Alicia's Sugar Shack a 5 star rating.
