Growing up playing hockey in small rinks like Downers Grove and Saint Spectrum, places with a certain charm that Addison Ice also exudes. The familiar scent of sheet rubber and zamboni exhaust mingling with the aromas of cold beer and stale whiskey, a nostalgic reminder of past practices.
