I would like to file a formal complaint about my recent experience at this Shelby Denny's restaurant recent visit on 11.9.2021. I was never treated so rude in a restaurant like Dennys in Shelby last night ever before. We ordered our food and something to drink. The server and the manager sat over on the other side of the restaurant in a booth with a small baby that they were taking care of while waiting on us. Brought the baby toward the register and held over the register several times and never washed their hands at all. First of all, the baby should have never been in the restaurant at all. That is environmental issue and sanitary issue also. Our food sat up at the area where it was ready b4 bringing our food and we had to ask for everything like napkins, a plate, and later when we asked for more drink the waitress or manager sat down instead of bringing us more drink to us. We were told Dennys was open 24 hrs then after we received our food told us that the restaurant was closing in a few minutes. Although I was not finished eating, still had more to eat at that particular time. When we got ready to leave we were asked if we wanted a receipt when we paid. No one asked how was our food or anything. They had already locked the doors of the restaurant so they had to let us out. Very poor experience here will never come back here. I would not even treat a dog like this. Hope others will find a better place to dine. DENNYS HAS GONE COMPLETELY DOWN HILL IN SHELBY COMPARED THE WAY THEY WERE RUN A FEW YEARS AGO! MAYBE THEY WILL FIND SOME PEOPLE THAT REALLY IN TRULY WANT TO WORK RIGHT NOW. Because based on what we experienced last night none of those that were working really wanted to be there. They all wanted to eat and be able to sit down around the baby which was very much a turn off experience for us. It was completely horrible experience that I never want to experience ever again. Finally, it will never happen to us again period!!!
