The Carne Asada at Pepe's is the real deal, with authentic skirt steak that's just awesome. The stuffed tacos are amazing, and I love all the vegetarian options they have, although I wish there were some vegan choices too. Pepe's might not be big or fancy, but it's definitely one of the best places for local Mexican food in Shorewood.
