I had a great time at the Dogstar concert, easily getting in and finding a good spot with a good pour on cocktails, great security, an intimate venue with good views, although the sound wasn't spectacular and the beer selection was average, overall enjoying the band and stage set up, but feeling the bartenders could be friendlier, noting the venue holds a ton of people with a good size balcony area, located conveniently near a subway stop and a parking garage, ideal for catching amazing musical acts with great acoustics, reasonable drinks, and multiple vantage points, recommending arriving early and staying on the lower level or towards the center to avoid obstructed views, and appreciating the grungy yet atmospheric setting that makes for a cool concert experience.
