I've been driving from Sterling Heights just to get a taste of the authentic Mexican flavors here-think el pastor tacos that make your taste buds dance and tamales with the perfect meat-to-masa ratio. The prices are shockingly affordable, like burrito dinners under ten bucks that make Taco Bell look like a luxury joint, and the staff's friendly vibe along with speedy service keeps me coming back for more. Sure, the place isn't winning any beauty contests and the seasoning can sometimes play it safe, but the fresh salsas, homemade cheese, and that giant bowl of beef stew make it feel like a little slice of Mexico right in Michigan.

Man, this Mexican joint in Michigan is the real deal! The food is so authentic and flavorful, especially the juicy meats like chorizo and flank steak.
