Today i purchased 2 stewed chicken platters with rice and beans and tostones they charged me $7.45 per platter which is understandable because the tostones didn't come with the meal. I also purchased a side order of tostones bringing my total to $19.75. Okay fine i don't mind paying for a good takeout meal. But when i arrived home and opened my meal i felt robbed and offended. In my meal was a small thigh and a thigh bone not a piece of thigh but the bone. Now I've patronized just about every Spanish Restaurant and Bodega in Trenton im also a Chef specializing in Continental Cuisine. And even at the Bodega i could get a small platter and at least have a quarter leg with that for $3.50 and La Cocina charged me $7.45 for a thigh and a bone. But i don't think it's because they're cheap or they ran out of chicken, i believe there's a racial issue here. I believe this city is too racially diverse for this type of behavior. So in part, if you're gonna run a business you're service and quality of food should be equal. Signed A Human Being not just a Blackman!
