I tried to place a to go order of gumbo. I was told there was no sausage in the gumbo because of lint. When I asked What about the people that don't observe lint?, and Why are you catering to one group and/or religion?. The person on the phone was rude, unapologetic, and just wanted to know if I wanted the order or not with no explanation and then said I couldn't pay by phone unless it was over $100.00. Then without a word hung up on me. If Baytown Seafood is going to cater to certain religions or groups of people they may reconsider their stance on serving the public. I'm very disappointed because I have always enjoyed Baytown Seafood but new owners have taken over most of them and they are definitely not the same. But, I will never go to this location again.
