I drove by and decided to give it a try, enjoying a Cuban sandwich and fries that were both quite good. The friendly staff and quick service added to the overall pleasant experience, making it a worthwhile visit.

Of all places to find in Athens Tennessee.... an authentic Cuban restaurant. I left SE Florida 23 years ago and unless I go down on a visit (about 4 times in all these years), I can't find authentic Cuban fare. Cuban cuisine is not spicy like Mexican. It's full bodied flavor will make your tongue dance.
The Friday night jam session is a bit loud so if you plan on having conversation with your dinner, eat before the session begins. The entertainment is all local but the sounds are wonderful.
