My girlfriend and I arrived quite hungry and a bit tense, which led to some playful arguing in front of a very patient waitress who handled us with kindness and professionalism. Despite our initial mood, the food at Pono's was fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and reminiscent of authentic Hawaiian cuisine, with generous portions and a mellow, welcoming ambiance enhanced by live music and friendly staff. The service was attentive and accommodating, even allowing us to bring our dog inside on a rainy day, making for an overall enjoyable dining experience that I look forward to repeating.
