I found this farm-to-table restaurant in a cool neighborhood with southern-themed dishes and fresh ingredients. The outdoor and indoor dining spaces are nice, and the cocktails are fantastic. Service can be a bit hit or miss, and the open floor plan lacks privacy, but the modern vibe is easy to clean.

While visiting my sister in Knoxville recently, my brother-in-law insisted we try his favorite restuarant. I grew up in New Orleans and have experienced many a fine meal- fancy and less so- but I thoroughly enjoyed everything abot the Plaid Apron. The burger was simply amazing! By far, the most enjoyable combination of great beef, textures, contrasting tastes, and that great fried gooey egg to top it off!; Fries were fantastic also.
Recommended to all!
