This place was very good under previous owners, but slowly going down under new ownership.
Coffee and gelato are good. Crapes can be better. Deserts not always fresh.
Service is always bad. Waiters keep forgetting and messing up orders. Waiting time for cup of coffee might take 15 – 20 min. Few times waiters just forgot my order, so after waiting half an hour I have to re-order and wait again. I'm not going to this place anymore. There are quite few of eateries in this area where you can get similar food with good service, so why go to Fresca?

Fresca Cafe' and Gelato offers a unique experience. With a calming ambiance, photographic art-work, friendly service, and delicious food, there is no better shop in the Triangle for coffee. They have something for everyone, whether it's imported wine with appetizers, savory crepes for dinner, or sweet crepes for dessert, coffee afterwards, or gelato as a treat for the whole family, you won't find higher quality than at Fresca. From what I understand, their ingredients are imported from an Italian distributor for their gelato, and they work hard to provide an authentic experience for real European cuisine.
This is a place for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert, Coffee, Wine or lounging, and it's great for the whole family.

This wonderful European style café makes you want to slow down and sit a while. It offers the perfect environment for a nice date with wine and appetizers, catching up with friends with a rich creamy gelato or just a fancy latte to help make it through some work. The staff is friendly and eager to create the ideal experience. The food always tastes amazing with nice extra decorations to make it a little special. It’s my new favorite Café. I guarantee I’ll be back every week!!
