The cornbread was still doughy
The salad looked as if it had been in the fridge a few days and was bland
The pulled pork was warm-ish
The mac and cheese was warm-ish
And the topper was, there were little teeny bugs flying around our table AND we saw a HUGE spider on a web that was over by the four topper table where you go in thru those two posts with the lamps on them… it had a web between the wheel/cog thing that is nailed up on that beam down to the light on the right side post, and I saw it crawl down and go behind the light! IT WAS HUGE, RED/BROWN with a HUGE white butt!
From where we were sitting, which was about 20 feet away, if I saw that spider that clearly it was fricken huge!
I am a little depressed because when they opened their food was great! hot, you got a lot of food for your buck, service was great, very attentive waitresses, and for the most part they still are attentive, however I think the atmosphere has gone down hill, it went from family friendly bar and restaurant to a majority bar atmosphere, a lot of people sitting around the bar area drinking a lot and as a result the food aspect as gotten a little neglected, you get less on your plate, and it's little to be desired since it usually isn't hot anymore.
I hope if the owner reads this they step up and spend a little more time in the kitchen making sure the food is right, and get a pest guy in there ASAP! I know drinkers may give you a lot of revenue, but local families with hungry kids and relatives that visit from afar can give you more.
