The north end has found a breath of fresh air in this cozy tavern, where live music pulses through the warm summer nights and laughter fills the air. I wandered in seeking a space to unleash my inner rock star and was welcomed like an old friend by the staff and locals alike, creating an atmosphere rich with camaraderie and good vibes. While the cocktails may not dazzle, the heart of the place lies in the shared love for music, cold beers, and the genuine connections made over a shared table.

Darrell's Tavern on Aurora Ave is the perfect hangout for a chill evening with great live music. The atmosphere is welcoming and feels like a neighborhood gem where you want to spend your time. Enjoy some local brews on tap, like Georgetown Brewing's Manny's, or opt for a classic PBR or Rainier tall boy.
