We had a party of 15 in the private dining room for a friends birthday. There was only 1 waiter serving all of us and taking orders. It would have been more organized if there would have been 2 waiters. When the waiter described the entree it sounded fabulous. I ordered calamari for an appetizer. The sauce was from a bottle, but the calamari was satisfactory. I had a dish called emperors fish. It had 3 shrimp and some flakes of crab on top of the fish. It came with jasmine rice and a few asparagus and carrots. The waiter called the fish meaty but it was so tough that I needed a steak knife to cut through it. The jasmine rice was regular white rice with no flavor. The shrimp were overcooked as well as the vegetables. There was no sauce on the plate so everything was very dry. The waiter told us he would bring us rolls from the oven. When I got one it was cold and more than likely from any grocery store shelf. Being that I was with a party I did not send the food back. I ate a little and asked for a to go box. It seemed like an upscale restaurant but it is not at all. If a restaurant is going to have a private dining room and serve a large party then they should be prepared for it. For the price of the entree it should be much more appetizing. I will not be returning!
