On a road trip through town, we stopped by this BBQ joint that surprised me with its clean, cozy indoor seating despite looking like a take-out window at first. The portions were huge and delicious-the chicken was meaty, ribs fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sausage juicy-plus the friendly service and tasty sides like their potato salad made it clear this is where real South Texas BBQ shines.
