During a recent trip to San Diego with friends, we stopped by Blackbird Cafe and enjoyed a quiet outdoor seating area despite being near the street. I tried the basic eggs, sausage, and fruit breakfast along with coffee, and everything was delicious, especially the ever-changing homemade loaf bread which never disappoints. The staff was friendly and handled a small billing mix-up quickly, making the overall experience pleasant enough that I'm eager to return and try more from their varied menu.

Best in the area hands down
