We placed a delivery order, they said they would call back to get the credit card information. They didn't seem to even know that they offered delivery, despite their mailer claiming so. They never called back, we had to call them instead. We gave them the credit card information and were told it would be 30-45 minutes. Over an hour later, we called back to find out where the order was, they said it hadn't even gone out and would be an additional half hour. When we said that wasn't acceptable, they said to speak to the manager. The manager/owner Jim Kite said that if we ever saw them on a Saturday morning, they were very busy. Great for them, but that's not our problem and NOT communicating this in the first place and NOT calling back to say there would be an additional delay, is NOT acceptable.
We said that an order which was an hour and a half (if not more) when we were told 30-45 minutes, should be comped. He laughed at us and said "I'm not going to do that." and hung up on my wife. My wife called back and said "You hung up on me, I wasn't finished. I wanted to make sure the credit card wasn't charged." He hung up on her again.
My wife called a THIRD time and spoke to someone else who was very apologetic, and said that my credit card had not been charged because they did not have time in the past hour to do so.
We told the owner that we had gotten the new menu for their "Grand Re-Opening" and that we had wanted to try them out, and that this treatment was going to lose him a customer, and he didn't care in the least.
This is completely unacceptable, the level of disdain is appalling, we will NEVER go to this place, and we will make sure as many review sites hear this story as possible. DO NOT patronize this jerk's restaurant. There are many other places you can go where you will not be treated like this.
