This was my husbands and my first time going there. All the workers were very nice. The food was fresh at all times. We went for Friday wing night. Wow! We were very pleased. We will deffinitly be going back!

Just came back from the Friday night Lenten buffet. OMG! This place is wonderful. Tons of hot, fresh foods that are refilled constantly. Great, friendly service. Excellent price, and don't even get me started on a rave about the dessert table. Salad bar and two soups also on the buffet. All this for only $ 9.95 ! We will definitely be going back to this well kept secret. Wake up Uniontown-----get out to Carmichaels and check this restaurant out. Happy over indulging!

01/12/2015 - Irregular Hours, Undependable, Rude
Food is pretty good WHEN it is open (but it's overpriced). They change up their hours all the time, so no one knows when they're open. Frustrating!

Always heard bad rumors about the place (namely, the chef cussing at people so loudly in the kitchen that even patrons could hear it)--but I didn't want to believe it. Imagine my surprise when I placed an order on their FB page (a personal page, not even a biz page) for two meals--and it wasn't acknowledged for an hour. So I thought I'd call to make sure they got my take out order (my husband was going to pick the meals up after work)--and I got an ANSWERING machine. (!) Made a short post about it on FB saying:

Answer me this: What kind of restaurant relies on FB to post hours--which fluctuate (that's right, no steady schedule). And, their FB presence isn't even a page, but someone to "friend"? And, does not acknowledge an order posted on their timeline, under their present ad/special--after an hour has gone by? And THEN, when you CALL said restaurant to PLACE the pick-up order...you get a *&%^$#@ answering machine?

Got a reply via private messaging that GOSMACKED me: The chef sent a long, three paragraph rant that was signed:

"Lots of Love and Go F@#% Yourself
Chef Adam"

YIKES! I guess all the horror stories WERE true. Needless to say, we'll never patronize Fairdale Inn again--and will make sure we steer everyone clear of their chaotic restaurant.
