The food at this restaurant is authentic and brings back memories of places I used to eat while hunting in South Texas. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and my wife was pleased with her chicken quesadillas; everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and prompt, making it a pleasant experience overall, and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area again.

Good service and good food

Goldthwaite is a small town, but there is big flavor at La Tapatio. We all grew up in South Texas, so our expectations on TexMex is high. Literally, every item on the menu is great. (We pass through Goldthwaite frequently). Unusual, is the "Molchete". It is special and unique to us. The service is fast, friendly, and accurate. The restaurant is relatively small, nothing special about the atmosphere, sometimes crowded but consistently tasty. It is a "go there and you will want to go back" place.
