It was around 9 pm when we finally made it to Friend's Kitchen after admiring it from afar on previous visits. We were in that in-between state of hungry but not too hungry, knowing we needed a little something to hold us over until morning. The shredded pork with pickled mustard we shared was just what we needed - light, refreshing, and delicious. I can't wait to return and explore more of their authentic North China cuisine!
