For our anniversary last year, my partner and I opted for a getaway in the scenic mountains of western Virginia due to time and budget constraints. The Woodland Cabin provided a cozy retreat with rustic furnishings, private amenities like an outdoor hot tub, and a thoughtful owner who even helped me arrange a surprise vow renewal ceremony during our stay. Despite some minor issues like an inconspicuous sign and the owner's busy schedule, the cabin offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the DC metro area without breaking the bank.
