I’m typically not one to write a foul review, but this place was not good. It started off as soon as we walked in the door. Poor service straight away. We were seated and our butts about hit the floor through the chairs. We got moved to a different table and ordered a sweet tea. Where we were then told very sharply that there were no free refills. We still got our regular teas (keep that in mind. It comes into play later)…. We ordered crab rangoons…. And just got fried cream cheese. There was no crab in it whatsoever. Then we ordered our sushi, thinking and hoping that based off the pictures on their website, that it would be good. We received the sushi and it looked pathetic. The pictures on the website look fabulous and the rolls on the table looked pathetic. False advertising. We are out rolls and then went to pay. Where we learned the the advertised price of the tea was about $2.50 but the cost on our recipes was $9 for 2 teas! That 4.50 for one tea… not to mention it tastes like a grandmas perfume. We then paid with cash for the entire check and didn’t rebut any of it. Even though we hardly drank the nasty $9 teas. Since we paid in cash, we got free fried Oreos. Which don’t get me wrong, they were not made right and didn’t taste nearly as good as the other ones I have had in the past, but they were a nice little touch to our overpriced meal. My mother and I were very disappointed in our meals. $42 down the drain for what tasted and looked pathetic. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to sushi connoisseurs. I eat sushi everywhere I go and I know what good sushi tastes like. If you also know what truly good sushi tastes like, do not eat here.
