Balsam Lake is a wonderful destination for a motorcycle ride from our home, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food, including the Prime Rib and delicious broccoli, was fantastic, and the service was quick and super friendly. Despite potential wait times, especially during busy summer months, the overall experience at the Otter was enjoyable, with great lake views and a casual, welcoming vibe.

The food was great as was the service but I was unhappy to find out I had to pay an extra fee to use my debit card.also very noisy and hard to hear inside.

Food was fine, but smaller portions than previous owner. I was charged the same price for rail vodka lemonade as other patron was for Titos 7up and was shorted $5 when I paid my bill. (Noticed shortage when I got home.) Not in a hurry to go back. A shame since we liked going there before.
