The stay was marked by a mix of comfort and quirks, with spacious rooms and attentive staff who went above and beyond-like when the assistant manager personally bought a camping lamp to brighten a dimly lit room. Though the bathroom and some amenities showed their age and could use serious updates, small thoughtful touches like 24/7 coffee, tea, and snacks added warmth to the experience. The neighborhood felt welcoming and convenient, with walking access to restaurants and transit, yet certain surprises like the elevator key card system and lack of shuttle service made for memorable, if occasionally frustrating, moments.

I stayed at the Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown and overall rated it 3.5 stars. However, I must commend Asst. Mgr - Harrington for going above and beyond to address my concerns about the dim lighting in my room, even purchasing a camping lamp to brighten it up. Despite some room design issues, the staff was friendly and the hotel's location was convenient, making for a decent stay overall.
