A TREMENDOUS DISSAPOINTMENT!!!
Bonefish was one of my families favorite restaurant for many years. Tonight we had a terrible experience! We had a reservation for my birthday celebration and when we arrived the staff attempted to seat us in the small room which had way to many people already seated to be in compliance with the covid19 regulations. The staff was rude and didn't seem to comprehend why we were not happy that a safe table was not available. In addition, the restaurant was dirty and dingy. We had noticed recently that the service, cleanliness and ambience has gone down hill in the last few years but thought we would give it a another try. We ended up not eating and leaving after the manager came out of the kitchen and rudely accused me of calling her staff names and profanity! This had not happened and I have no idea why she would say such things. I had simply said that I would not sit where they wanted to seat us and that I was disappointed that they were attempting to seat us in this over crowded area! The Southlake location definitely needs lots of work on their customer service skills. We felt so unwelcome in the restaurant that we will never go back to this location again. It is such a shame that poor management and staff can ruin a resturant that was once a classier environment !
