I've been a customer for three years. The food is tasty, sure enough. But Spring Garden are shamefully stingy tightwads.

Once, a friend and I ordered two separate orders and we both asked for a side of spicy oil. She gave us only one, saying one was for both of us to both dunk our food into (that's unsanitary). They have also tried to get away with not including napkins and plastic utensils for take out orders. Don't they realize that makes a good customer feel insulted?

And the prices are higher than average. The portions are shrinking. They have cut back their hours. Closed Mondays and open only till 9:30 instead of 10:30.

Recently, I arrived at 9:35 but the door had not yet been locked. Instead of greeting me, a good customer, she only said, "We're closed."

NEVER AGAIN.

For take out, the Spring Garden is good. The food is prepared to order, and they are efficient and friendly. Most orders are ready in 10 minutes; 15 minutes at most. The Spring Garden's food is very good, but we prefer Hong Wah on Penfield Road.

We order from this place often. They don't offer delivery, but picking it up is worth it, the food is always fantastic. The ladies there are always really nice, the review about them not taking credit cards is a mistake or false.

So I called for delivery and was told that the driver doesn't like to go over to my area because he doesn't know the area. When I offered to pick it up, I told them I was going to pay by credit card. They told me no credit card only cash. Cancelled my order. Will never order there again. Worst service ever.

Very fast, friendly service & the food is fresh and delicious!!
The woman that was working when I picked up our order was such a nice person. We will continue to give them our business! They happily accommodated my special requests too. Very highly recommended.
