Kooper's North is my favorite spot for a casual meal, with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff and tasty dishes, like the gumbo and burgers, make it a go-to choice.

Have eaten there several times before....however my last visit on 1/7/16 will literally be my last. I decided to go there about 4:50 pm because I needed to be somewhere else and thought at this time we could finish our meal quickly. No way! It took about 45 minutes to get our dinner (meatloaf and fish tacos). Our waitress never returned to our table until she delivered our order. I had to send my meatloaf dinner back. It was room temperature, and again waited about 10 minutes to get my microwaved dinner returned.. Needless to say the experience was lousy. Did not get out of there until 6:30 pm.
I'm sorry this was a bad choice as I took an out of town guest and it was embarrassing.
