I don't know if the waitress was cooking after taking our order, but it would make a lot of sense. The service was terrible, and the food was worse! I have been a local waitress in newport for ten years, and I can tell you that if you dropped in anywhere else for a bite, they could do better. This place is praying that their theme carries them. Back in the day, they were a good enough place that our family would make a point to go there. Now we just laugh. If you enjoy bad service and worse good, Flashbacks is the place for you!
