I got a family meal for takeout and the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and not greasy at all, with some of the best chicken and dumplings I've ever tasted-simple but full of flavor. The sides like greens, sweet potatoes, and Brunswick stew were just like homemade, and the service was super quick and friendly, so I'll definitely be back soon.

The fried chicken at Mountain Fried Chicken on Hwy 70 in Hickory is absolutely delicious, with a crispy exterior and tender meat. The variety of side dishes like greens, sweet potatoes, and macaroni and cheese perfectly complement the chicken. The service is friendly and quick, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.
