06/21/2015 - Shocked Fathers Day Dinner
Went to Woody's after work today to treat my husband of 31 years to a father's day dinner, it is usually one of his favorite places to eat, but unfortunately we will never eat there again. We are both big supporters in the business community and can well afford to eat anywhere we would like to eat We ordered an appetizer, I ordered the pork salad at $8.99 and my husband ordered the all you can eat chicken as recommended as the special of the day by the waitress at $7.99. When he asked for his first reorder of the all you can eat chicken the waitress said there would be a $2.00 charge, we asked why, she said that's what we charge for a reorder. We explained that he ordered the all you can eat chicken.... And we asked for the manager, the manager came over and said, SHE WAS THE OWNER, yes, we charge extra for the chicken. We asked to see it on the menu or the board, and they could not show it to us, but said they would charge us and bring it to him. We were shocked and said THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT IT SAYS ALL YOU CAN EAT CHICKEN FOR $7.99 AND HE IS JUST ASKING FOR AN ADDITIONAL PIECE OF CHICKEN!!! The owner came over and said she would only charge a dollar extra buy it would be dark meat only.!!!! WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING ALL YOU CAN EAT AND REFUSING THE FIRST REORDER??? I asked for a to go box for my expensive bar b que salad and they took it and they refused to let me take my leftover bar-b salad. We can well afford anything we want to eat we have country club memberships in the community!!! But WOODY'S YOU ARE WRONG TO DO THIS TO YOUR EVERYDAY CUSTOMER AND COMMUNITY!!! AND THE MANAGER SAID SHE WAS THE OWNER!!! WE ARE SHOCKED HOW YOU GET AWAY WITH IT!!
