My suegros, who are in their 80s and don't really use the internet, swear by the menudo here, so we decided to give it a shot and ended up loving it. The alambre with pastor is incredible-the mix of bacon, jalapeño, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cheese just hits all the right flavors, and the menudo is seriously the best I've had around Oxnard. The vibe is super casual and family-run, with great service and a clean spot, making it perfect for a laid-back meal, especially on Sundays when the menudo and football are on.

Based on my suegros' recommendation, we tried Los Remedios Steak House for their delicious menudo and have been back multiple times since - it's the best in Oxnard. I'm eager to explore more of the menu, but I'll keep coming back for the amazing menudo and the clean, inviting atmosphere. The Alambrez with Pastor was a standout dish with a perfect blend of flavors - generous portions of pastor, bacon, jalapeño, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cheese. The service was friendly, and the family-run establishment had a cozy vibe that I enjoyed. If you're a menudo fan, give this place a shot - it won't disappoint.
