The best store bought tamales I have ever eaten in my 60 years on this earth

We bought a green chile tamale at the front tree market when we were passing by Butte.
I boiled it today and I wondered if there was a sauce that I should put on top.
I started researching the web and I did not find an answer.
I resorted to sour cream even though I have learned that in Mexico, back in the day they did not have sour cream.
So I have devoured the Tamale (it exceeded my expectations) and still don't know the answer.
As the grandson of a Cornish Butte miner I love Pasties. I have a couple of Truzzolino Pasties in the freezer now, but from my past experience with ones I have bought at the grocery store (may not have been Truzzolino's) here in Bigfork seem to have been mostly potato. So I am curious as whether they will meet my expectations. In Phoenix there is a chain of Cornish Pasty Co. restaurants and they have a half a dozen varieties of pasties. The basic one includes rutabaga, and that seems to make it authentic, especially with gravy.

Been eating them since 1965, Best in the world! I know things about tamales... I only wish they would ship me about 100 every couple of months to North Carolina. I have to fly to Butte with dry ice now because they aren't canned anymore. VERY disappointed. I NEED these.

I have been eating them since 1995 and think they are the best tamales in MT.
