Mountain Standard in Vail offers a lively atmosphere with attentive yet occasionally pretentious service, a diverse menu featuring standout dishes like sweet potato chili, shrimp tamales, pimento cheese with bacon jam, crispy trout bo saam, perfectly cooked sea scallops, pork cheek poutine, and an unforgettable blueberry pie, accommodating dietary needs well and impressing me enough to return despite some rushed moments and premium pricing.
