I have visited Sassagoula Floatworks twice, ordering jambalaya and shrimp and grits, both of which were flavorful and well-prepared with generous portions. The cafeteria-style setup allows ordering from multiple counters, with a variety of southern dishes and grab-and-go items, plus a good selection of drinks including Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The staff is friendly, seating is ample both indoors and outdoors, and the overall experience offers convenient and satisfying meal options within the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort.
