We had an awesome experience tonight! We had the parmesan fries, which were AMAZING! Our filet was so tender and our redfish was the perfect texture and flavor. We wish there was one Maryland! ❤

This USE TO BE MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. NOT ANYMORE SINCE NEW OWNERSIP AND MANAGEMENT TOOK IT OVER IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN OUT OF TOWN!!! Horrible service and manager Tom is even worse. Bill was $131 for 2 people only having one cocktail and 2 beers. Bill does nor include tip. Spent less money tonight than I ever have here. Ordered dirty gin martini. No olives. Ask Tom for some. He brings me a CUP half full of small olives for me to "dump" in martini. No spoon or toothpick to get them out. Started w colder than room temperature lobster bisque. Took so long to get it husband ate his cold but I sent mine hack for reheating. My soup was returned warm; however, only a third of my soup returned. This time it was 4 tablespoonfuls in a creme brulee saucer. Soup didn't even cover half the "petri dish". Finally got bread and butter after asking waitress twice and Tom once. Also ask both if we could get a candle in our empty vase..both said they would..neither did. Ordered steak and lobster hoping steak would come out medium rare..waitress never did ask how either of us preferred our steak cooked. Chef was fabulous. Filet (although medium) and lobster were fantastic. Received 2 very large asparagus spears undercooked and tough. Waitress is doing a horrible job so I keep asking Manager Tom to PLEASE HEAR OUR PLEA FOR HELP in turning this dinner around since he is constantly attending to the couple next to our table. It was obvious Tom knew them. Ordered cup of coffee w cream. No cream, no spoon, no saucer provided. Have included a picture of the bottom of my coffee when I realized I had at least a tablespoon of coffee grounds at bottom of cup. Attempted to show this to Tom so he could make my poor experience a teaching moment for staff. He looked in cup and walked away not saying anything. Ask waitress what his name was. Made sure I let Tom know on the way out the door what a horrible experience and explained we use to be regulars. He very rudely wanted to hear nothing of my experience. After getting the table next to us assistance w getting napkins and silverware post their meal. They are new to area and we told them what restaurants in area to try since we eat most of our meals out. Wished them well w the rest of their meal, paid check and will not return until there is new management post Tom. We should have realized this night was going to be a problem when 3 tables paying bill near us had to ask one another what the last 4 of their credit card was so they could exchange checks amongst themselves after being given returned receipts incorrectly. If the owner is reading this, please contact me when new management is hired. Until then, will find another favorite restaurant in Lake Jackson. Plan on posting this experience on every site I can think of so that others don't have an expensive dining experience before being forewarned
