While waiting between flights in Anchorage, my friend and I discovered the Buckaroo Club, a large, relaxed bar near the old REI with a friendly bartender named TC, local draft beers, free popcorn and soup, great pool and shuffleboard tables, a diverse and welcoming crowd, and an Alaska-friendly smoking patio that made for a chill and entertaining night away from the usual tourist scene.
