While searching for an early coffee and breakfast to wait out the rain, I discovered Polo Chef Bakery at the southeast corner of Jog and 10th, which opens at 7 am. I ordered a three-egg omelette and a cafí© con leche, both of which were exceptional, and I couldn't resist trying a guava cheese Danish for later, all for an impressive total of $11.95.

Great food at a reasonable price

I love his sourdough bread, eggplant and his pastries. Great place with friendly people who are knowledgeable and accommodating.
You won't regret having whatever you choose as everything is fresh & so delicious.
