The Thai food here is absolutely incredible, surpassing all my expectations for a gas station eatery. Even though it can take a while to get your order, the delicious flavors and generous portions make it well worth the wait.

You wouldn't believe the incredible Thai food you can find at that little spot by the gas pumps. It may not look like much, but the flavors are truly authentic and worth the wait. The friendly service and generous portions make it a local favorite for good reason.

I have been going to Pons for a while. Rule #1: LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!
While I love the flavor of Thai food, I always must have it M I L D to be able to eat it. Pon has always cooked any and all of her dishes for me...M I L D. We stopped by on Saturday to eat in a Red Curry Chicken - MILD, and a beef noodle - MILD. With Pon gone, we encountered 2 new people who were very pleasant....but the MILD dishes were so full of red chili flakes we took home the dishes to try and clean out the red flakes, and add about a can of cream of coconut to try and make $25 meal (because I had added a tip) edible. Despite major efforts to what was now a $30 meal, due to the cost of cream of coconut, it was completely inedible for either me or my husband and it all ended up in the trash...all of it save the four bites I endeavored to eat before I was afraid of being ill. I asked for my beef noodle to be cooked a longer time, and that you did....but the rest of it was just plain inedible and W R O N G,

I do not like to think the cook was being funny by adding more flakes than I have encountered in a medium curry or what was up, I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I do not have $30 to try again. I am just grossly upset.

LISTEN AND TAKE THE WORDS OF THE CUSTOMER SERIOUSLY. YOU HAVE LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER. You are absolutely welcome to call me and explain yourself. My message phone is 407-9339 - Asheville number.
