During my visit last week, Taylor G provided excellent service and her recommendations were spot on, making the meal very enjoyable. The menu offers a variety of fresh seafood and Cajun dishes, with friendly staff and a clean environment, creating a consistently pleasant dining experience.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant last week, thanks to my server, Taylor G. She recommended some fantastic dishes, and I couldn't get enough of the seafood, especially the Boom-Boom Shrimp and the fried crab claws. The service was outstanding, and I'll definitely be coming back to enjoy more delicious meals and friendly faces!

On Friday, Nov 9, 2018, a home football game, I took a visitor to Shrimp Basket for evening dinner. First thing I should have noticed, was the parking lot with empty spaces! Bad sign. First, the portions were so ' chincy' it was embarrassing.. Two hush puppies the size of walnuts! My catfish was in small slices, and only 5 pieces. My friend had chicken breast, and it was 5 small slivers. The seafood slaw was in a ' thimble' size container. And no artificial sweetener on any table! The catchup bottle was almost empty... And, for a Bama football weekend, the crowd was small, compared to other restaurants. This place has really gone to the dogs lately!! Either the manager needs to be replaced, OR I fear the Tuscaloosa Shrimp Basket is soon to fail and will be history.
