This Mexican restaurant's food is delicious and the service was excellent!!! Most of the restaurants there are sea food places and I was craving Mexican food but I was doubting any place would be worth it. But to my surprise...this restaurant was exactly what I wanted. The food portions were awesome compared to the prices. The Carne Asada was awesome and it came with all the fixings and a Grilled Pepper that made me feel like I was back in TEXAS! If you are looking for real Mexican food this place is what you are looking for. I'm from Texas, during my stay in Orange Beach I was hungry for spicy Mexican food and found the perfect place after driving for a while. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you truly like Mexican food and want great service for a low price.

Been here many times. Every time chips look recycled. Always broken crumbs and greasy. Once stood at counter after entering for 15 minutes. Staff all around. No eye contact. No one offered to seat us even though they were not busy. We left. Went elsewhere. Don't care for the staff. Why do we keep coming back you say? Its those danged cheese grits. We love them. The food is inconsistently good or bad but never great. Eat outside and the mosquitoes will have a feast. Dont care for inside atmosphere. Looks dirty and uninviting. One time the iced tea was soooo sweet we had to ask for unsweet to mix it with. Good luck but don't miss those grits.

The hostess was less then friendly, that being said, let's move on. Our server was nice, friendly and very efficient. The fajitas were very good, best I've had in a really long time. The cheese grits were amazing, my only complant, I should have just skipped the refried beans and had double grits. I would definitely go back next year.
