Wow!....not your average breakfast. I,'ve eaten dinner here and loved it,told that they are now serving breakfast so me and the hubby figured we,d give it a try last Sat. Walked in and we're met by a special board that really impressed us..home made polenta with sausage, onions and roasted red peppers topped with two eggs and red bliss homefries.banana fosters French toast, what!? Breakfast bruschetta!? Frittata,as well as dozens of variations on omelets, pancakes and crepes.Whoa..hold me back! I was also informed by my awesome waitress that they also offer most items in a gluten free option as well.Oh yea,the kicker?...Full liquor license= Mimosas or whatever else you may require on your weekend breakfast jaunt. My head and tastebuds were spinning. I opted for the Banana fosters French toast...OMG!The lightest, fluffed French toast i have ever had. I was told that it is topped with a caramelized brandy, banana almond glaze..It was out of this world..my fork and mouth could not work fast enough...The hubby went for the Polenta,at the urging of our waitress and he was not dissapointed. He said the two pieces of grilles polenta were the best he has ever had..creamy cheesy, smooth and crispy on the outside,it was topped with two over medium eggs and a generous helping of grilled sausage, peppers and onions, his came with the best homefries(,go there just for these)either one of us ever have had.We both had a mucosa with our meal. Conclusion? Fabulous! Our waitress was friendly, fast and helpfully. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate and the food was out of this world!...My only regrets are that we were not able to try everything on the menu(we will though)and that sooner or later this place is going to be mobbed on the weekends.....
